I've been surfing through the stuff I copied off of my mom's computer after she died.

No need to keep things like cookies, etc, but I kept most of her documents.

Then I found some drafts of some books written by Dr. Li, one of her favorite penpals. She liked writing to him because he was well educated and they had great conversations.

I'm not sure if they were still friends when she died, but we definitely didn't have a way to contact him.

Well, I searched on the title of one of the drafts, and here it is on Amazon:

He's written a few other books.

I'm emotionally mixed up. It's been almost 4 years since she died. Should I try to find him or write to him via his publisher, or just ignore it all?

That's more rhetoric and rambly than anything.

I found prototypes of his book on her drive, and I remember her referring to him as Dr. Li.

And yah, I thought they were just penpals, but if they weren't speaking at the time of her death, then it's probably not necessary to contact him.

This whole thing was more of a mental exercise and rhetorical question. I've not really felt like I should really try to track the guy down.

I just remember her really enjoying talking with him because it was neutral and intelligent.
