Bathroom progress
Josh 201604 KWP
Plumbing is all set. The sweat-on fixture wasn't bonded well, so it came off easily. The push-on fixture has no leaks.

Remaining floor tiles cut and installed.

Grout has been applied; however, to my dismay, the set-up time is 16-24 hours, and being in a 5x5 room, even with a fan, there's not a lot of air circulation. As such, I've not sealed the floor yet.

I did repaint the light fixture and it looks fabulous.

I also rebuilt the toilet with tank bolts and all.

I also rebuilt the sink with a brushed nickel faucet. I hope the stopper seat works. There's no gasket and no putty allowed.

The door hardware has also been replaced.

So everything is brushed nickel, hammered nickel, or chrome, except the towel ring which should show up on Monday or Tuesday.

Anyway, the bathroom should be finished Monday. I could have finished on Sunday if I'd realized Sat morning that the tile on hand was not the same as what I was installing, though the new cutting wheel for the tile scorer also helped a bunch.

After this is done, I'll replace the kitchen faucet. I looked, and one of the shutoffs is too short for me to replace at my skill level. We'll see if the semi-rigid supply lines will play nicely or if I have to test out the home warranty. I think I can replace the shutoff for the dishwasher and that should help it's fill times.
