The Shimano XT RD-M772-SGS rear derailleur is nice. Spring tension is high, and initial adjustment was easy. Cable routing is interesting though, as the output aims the tail into the spokes. Rather than trimming super short, I went ghetto and zip-tied the excess in a convenient route. Inbound cable wanted a zip strip to limit boss strain, but whatevs.

Old RD is being cleaned and reassembled next week and if it is in good shape, I will sell it and some of my other spare parts.

New stem is okay, but did not come with spacers. I took the spacers and bar clamp from the old one, and all is well. We'll see if 17 degree vs 40 degree does anything for me.

The Shimano Flat Bar Front Derailleur FD-440 (basically Alivio FD with a compact double cage) went on okay, though the clamp seemed a little tighter than I like. I am not sure I didn't break something during install (pop sound) but I can find no defect. Shifting is better in test.

After I put on the cadence sensor, I plan to test shifting tonight, since I have a 7:30am and a 10:00am ride.
