Title company chick said delays with government (eg FHA).

Erica: "We're under contract on an apartment and are supposed to move in this weekend."

Response: "If I were you, I wouldn't move until you closed."

So what do you all think? Unload the van, or go ahead and unload it at the new place if we get access tomorrow?

I appreciate the offer; however, I'm still dumbfounded by this offer. I don't intend to come across ingrateful, rather, I simply don't understand how that would help - offering an alternate destination, because our source has not been removed. Now, if our destination were removed, and our source were still to be removed, then an alternate destination would be great.

eg, "Ah, you didn't sell your source hard drive yet, so instead of moving it to your new server, move it to my server. Then when your source is gone, you can move it from my server to your new server, rather than just moving it directly to your new server."

or news server
or nudes server
or whatever.

Re: time and distance costs...

foop. disagree. doesn't matter. resisting urge to continue arguement. ahhgg....

I understand what yer gettin' at here-- and thank you. :) We're hiding from stress tonight, and will just move stuff tomorrow. Also, I think my sister is coming tomorrow, so we'll have her truck to help move things over. Danke, liebchen!

assuming that you've signed your lease, are going to get keys, can't back out of the apt deal. I would go ahead and unload it at the new place. You will be moving there anyways. So just do it and get settled.. but thats just me.

Yah, that's what we decided... plus, I think there's *still* someone hanging on as a backup offer. if not, I'd prolly jack up the price $5k to cover recent expenses, and it would likely still sell quickly.
