Exim filters

Exim 3.35, filter. It gives no errors, but it doesn't block the messages.

I followed examples even.

I'm frustrated and want to kick it.

I guess I could carve the filter into a block of wood, then kick that.

Don't use Exim. Use Postfix. Postfix is your friend. Exim is Evil. Postfix will do what you want. Exim is tired.

Haha. Well, that assumes that I will/can setup a system to test on while I figure out postfix.

though it's about time. I'm just not as motivated/quick/stuff as I used to be

Whaddyou run on your server for distribution?

Did you custom compile apache/php, or ?

My boxes are pretty much all apache, php, mysql and postfix. All compiled from scratch. Although compiling from scratch is usually very easy. With apache, php and mysql I need to do it because there are a bunch of different options that I want/need that are never in precompiled packages.

*nod* That's kinda what I'm figuring. I dunno about mysql. Never used it. I'd like to have apache, php, perl and ssl all happily playing together, and the debian packages don't. It's sort of a "choose one".

I might go back to slackware and build up from there, just for the leanness, but I just really don't know. I never seem to have the time to allocate into fucking with the different distros to find which one I like. Debian is "ok" but not quite right.
