According to TX property code, My sister and I have rights to the property that is my father's name, voice, photograph, signature, and likeness.

Upon execution of a testementary document (my dad verbally granted similar rights prior to his death), I would immediately have rights.
Upon registration of those rights for a fee of $25 witht he secretary of state for TX, my sister and I both would have those rights.
After January 10, my sister and I both would have those rights without requirement of registration.

The rights during the first year after death may only be used by an administrator, executor or guardian, and then, only when registered.

The rights granted under this section are for media, advertising, art until the 50th anniversary of death, after which it may be used for any purpose.

Interesting. Not the same as a PoA, but still interstin.
