My drive has been failing for some time in my desktop. It's not as new as yours, but still under a year old. I called in the advanced replacement RMA on the night of Aug 9, 2001. Had to do it online because they were closed, so on Aug 10, the NEW RMA was issued. My e-mail said 4-business days, which the big three all get cross-ship drives in TWO days.
Well, the drive was JUST delivered today. 12 days, that's 9 business days. I called and bitched... e-mailed and bitched... the guy wouldn't escalate my call and said "I don't know when it will ship, but it'll go out 2-day airborne..."
