Subject: RE: RE: Meeting fun people, making FRIENDS & Networking.
Body: Josh,

I did not mean to offend you or SPAM you. I am definitely trying to spread the word about the Army and meet some new people at the same time. I have only been out here about one year now and everyone I talk with ask if I am on MySpace, hell I did not even know what MySpace was at the time. So I figured what the heck set up a profile and try to meet people in my area, most of them are on here anyway. I know the Army is not for everyone, so I don't push it on people, but everyone knows someone who may be able to benifit from some or all of the opportunities the Army has to offer.

Again I did not mean to offend you in any way

Sir,
this sort of solicitation does not interest me. Further, it strikes a bad chord with me. It definitely qualifies as SPAM. I can see the reasoning behind it, but it doesn't change the delivery method.

Unfortunately, I can't offer a better option to you. Good luck.

Hello Josh;

I am Staff Sergeant [Name] and I am in the US Army. I am trying this "NETWORKING" AND "FRIENDS" thing out. I have been in the Army for 14 years. I am new to the area and currently on Recruiting duty in North Richland Hills Area and just trying to meet new people and spread the word about the many opportunities the Army has to offer.

Army Reserve
As a Soldier in the Army Reserve, you can train near home and be ready to serve full time when needed. As a Soldier in the Army Reserve, you may qualify for:
An extra paycheck every month
More than $20,000 in education benefits through the Montgomery GI Bill and the Army Reserve Kicker
Up to $20,000 to pay off your federally insured student loans through the Army Loan Repayment Program

Active Duty
If youre close to graduating or are simply thinking about giving college a break, you may want to consider serving full time on Active Duty. As a Soldier in the U.S. Army, you may qualify for:
An enlistment bonus of up to $40,000
Up to $71,000 in college education benefits through The Army College Fund and Montgomery GI Bill
Up to $65,000 to pay off your federally insured student loans through the Army Loan Repayment Program
Up to 100% tuition assistance for classes taken while serving
If you qualify, additional incentives may include location-of-choice, 30 days paid vacation a year, medical and dental coverage, superb recreation facilities, and low-cost shopping in post stores.

Of course, the benefits of joining the U.S. Army go beyond just the monetary. In addition to becoming a stronger individual as you gain new training, youll also feel a sense of accomplishment, experience true camaraderie and teamwork, and develop discipline and leadership skills that todays employers value.
