Here's the email I sent, which is self explanatory to anyone who cares:
I received the card today. I'm disappointed.
In the item description, the card is advertised as:
"This is high-end quad-port ethernet card and equivalent to 4 Gigabit Ethernet cards and only use one PCI slot."
In fact, the card is equivalent to ONE gigabit ethernet card plus a gigabit switch. The card-to-PCI bandwidth is only that of a single gigabit card, and only one gigabit ethernet device is presented to the system.
This is further backed up by the stencilling on the card "Switch Adapter" and that it only has one MAC address.
Additionally, the card has three places where the factory laquer has melted and oxidized, indicating that it has been subjected to high-current or short-circuit.
I'll delay feedback until I hear back from you.
